Perfect Porridge Combinations

I love to start my day with a good bowl of oats. But there are so many ways to eat it! Here are some of my favourites. ( *Insert blog shock!-I dont like bananas and pb gives me migraines* )

  • Pear and Almond Butter Oats – sauteed pear with brown sugar and drippy almond butter
  • Apple Sauce and Tahini Oats – apple sauce added after cooking
  • Date and Tahini Oats – chopped soaked dates and dark or light tahini
  • Frozen bloobs, hazelnutbutter Oats – sometimes I heat the bloobs and sometimes I let the oats heat the bloobs 🙂 hazelnutbutter=healthy nutella!
  • Toasted seed and almond Oats – I favour sunflower seeds and toasted almond flakes for a simple omega filled brekkie
  • Tropical Kiwi and Coconut Oats – papaya, chopped kiwi, coconut and banana chips
  • Sunbutter+ANYTHING Oats 🙂 – I ❤ Sunbutter
  • Apple Spice Oats – Chopped stewed apple, cinnamon and nutmeg

*I add honey and cinnamon to every bowl of nomailiscious porridge i consume and I always do stove top, no microwave for me!*

    The sauteed pear with brown sugar looks like the perfect topping for me. Mmmm.
