2011 Dreams
This year I have goals that I want to achieve. I am not keen on making resolutions for the New Year but I do want to achieve some things by the end of 2011. These goals mirror quite a life overhaul for me. Let me explain.
I am currently not in college. I deferred by 3rd of Event Management because I want to focus on getting my health back on track after it being off track for a good 6 years. Consequently, aside from working 2/3 days a week-I have lots of free time on my hands. This time opens windows upon windows of opportunity for me to do things that I really want to do with my life! It is not common for someone of my age to have 9 months of being able to do and achieve whatever they want!. From the age of 12-24, humans are tied down with school, college, jobs. Yes, there is weekend free time where projects can be pursued or evenings when desired night classes can be attended. But seriously, 9 months?? I can do so much in nine months!
To be honest, it is quite overwhelming and I dont want it to be a case where prospects and possibilities are so big, that I get overwhelmed. Which is why I set up this page on my blog. A page where I can think about, break down and record all the things I want to do this year. I will be keeping the progress of these goals up to date through my blog posts or random interjections on this page.
MY GOALS FOR 2011
Get to and remain at a healthy weight
Save €2000
Go to Germany at SOME stage with my Dad
Chill out about life more and Chill out in general (as in relax) more
Start up dance classes
Find a new job in an industry that I actually have some interest in
Be a good blogger 🙂
Be able to pay my rent on time
Go to London/NY (lottery winning dependant)
Eat all the foods that Fionas heart desires (I will do postS at some early stage of the year that covers all the food groups, meals, restaraunts and food sitautions that I like and want to be in and do).
Be more social
Visit and speak to my grandparents more often
Be a better role model for my younger sister
Get my drivers license
Read more books
So theres my list, good bad or indifferent, these are the things I want to do.
WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!!!!

Great list! Working out what you want to do with your life is HARD! I’m 28 and most of my friends still havent managed it. Plus every week or so I have a freak out decide ‘OMG – why am I studying nutrition? Maybe I actually want to be a DOG TRAINER’. I like to think this moments are because im so ‘interested with world’, rather than ‘indecisive’.
A TEFL degree is a great idea though – my friends who travel constantly and compulsively are amongst the happiest!! xoxo
